Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters Endorse Keller
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Today the Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters officially endorsed mayoral candidate and current New Mexico State Auditor Tim Keller.
“Tim Keller has always fought on behalf of families like mine, and we’re standing with Tim because of his plans that will raise the quality of life and make investments in our neglected neighborhoods,” said David Ortiz of Carpenters Local 1505.
“Albuquerque’s leaders have not been doing enough to create good jobs and support working families, and I will change that as mayor,” said Keller. “We will invest in local businesses first and help them add new jobs so our families can finally get back to work and thrive economically.”
Keller described his plans for improving circumstances for Albuquerque’s working families, by directing city resources towards local entrepreneurs, focusing on creating good-paying local jobs through an “increment of one,” and turning city hall “inside-out” to take city services directly to the communities which need them.
