Two former Mayors of Albuquerque, Marty Chavez (1993-1997, 2001-2009) and Jim Baca (1997-2001), today endorsed Tim Keller.

"It breaks my heart to see the crime in the city of Albuquerque," said Chavez. "This is the most important job for the next mayor and it's why I'm supporting Tim Keller. I'm pleased that the police officers are supporting Tim because we have to make this community safe."

"Our challenges are too great to continue down the path we've been on and that's why we need a change with Tim Keller to fight crime and create good jobs," said Baca. "Tim has a vision to actually do something in the city instead of sitting on the sidelines. Albuquerque deserves more, and Tim is the right person to move us forward."

"Despite different perspectives and focuses for the city during their tenure, what's clear is that they agree that the most important thing for our city is new leadership. It's an honor to have their support," said Keller.
