New Mexico Building & Construction Trades Council endorse Tim Keller for Mayor of Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The New Mexico Building & Construction Trades Council has endorsed Tim Keller for Mayor of Albuquerque, the union’s president announced.
"We are endorsing Tim Keller to be the next Mayor of Albuquerque because of the leadership he has shown in his current position as State Auditor and before as a State Senator,” said Brian Condit, President of NMBCTC. “Tim understands the challenges facing working families and will do everything he can to meet those head-on. Albuquerque will be a better place with him at City Hall."
Keller said one of his top priorities as mayor will be to include local business in planning discussions to shape an economy that benefits all of Albuquerque.
“I’m proud to receive this endorsement from the Building & Construction Trades Council,” said Keller. “Our local businesses and families have been left out of the conversation for far too long. I’m looking forward to working with these businesses to build an economy that works for all of us, not just the wealthy few.”
